Hi everyone I’m broadcasting live from my car in the parking lot of a Subway via blackberry. Now I’m not going to write this whole post from my car I’m just getting the beginning out. So for those that don’t know its Classic Weekend now this is kind of like Mardi Gras in Louisiana for Orlando basically its like a lot of parties going on. I myself decided to sit this Classic out (last years’ and the year before were a lot of fun) and just stay focused which is turning out to be a much harder task that I anticipated. Ok so I woke up this morning to see my phone was blinking (meaning I had some messages/missed calls) so I pick it up and see I had 34 missed calls, 15 voice messages, and 44 text messages. Keep in mind I went to bed at like 5am now every call was from 7am up until like 12 that let’s you know how wild last night was. Now just imagine, almost everyone that you know in the town you live in telling you what you are missing out on, and it is not like all of them are apart of the same social group and the fact that they all were calling around the same time tells me it was a wild night. Things like that make me feel old, lol because they are all saying things like”Mel enjoy your youth” and “your still young and I know you want to come out just take a break” things I ask myself, but quickly dismiss with the idea that it is all going to pay off someday (I’m an optimistic person plus I’m working hard) Ok I’m in the house on my couch I just made a yahoo email address (follow_mel@yahoo.com)for flickr( who knew you needed a yahoo email address for flickr) and now I have to upload some photos on there. So on my way home from subway I got 4 text messages asking me what I’m going to do tonight. But everyone knows I don’t take breaks, so I replied I’m working and I want to but I have to finish this and their replies only made me want to join in the Classic weekend festivities even more. Just got another text about tonight. Not going out tonight for me is like trying to quit smoking lol (I don’t smoke cigarettes) . But also today I got some good news about a music video my partners and I are shooting, so that brought the mood up. So my plan for tonight is to get some photos up on flickr (will post the link to flickr page), work on after effects and then the night will be a wrap as far as work goes. -Follow Mel The Only person Working on Classic Weekend
